Employment, Labor, & Union Law

For the Love of Labor

Geraci Law Offices has been practicing Labor, Employment and Union Law for over ten years and has a successful track record in accurately representing his clients' interests on behalf of both employees and employers.

One of the very first steps is to consider legal action when circumstances occur in the workplace that arise to the level of complaints being filed, contracts being breached, or threatening, harassing, or negligent behavior becoming present. Union members will want to file a complaint and speak with their union reps to arrange legal representation, which unions typically have pre-arranged or retained.

For non-union members, a similar process is required if you feel that you have been discriminated against or your workplace or human rights have been violated. Complaints may be filed with the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division (US-DOL-WHD), U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for youth workforce (US-EEOC), or New York State Division of Human Rights (DHR-Complaint) to name a few common options.
